Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of MakeMeDemo (the “Software”) and makemedemo.com (the “Site”). By creating an account or using the Software, you agree to them.
The Software
MakeMeDemo is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that records interactions and produces interactive product demos. Projects and exports are stored locally. Cloud AI requests send necessary content to your chosen provider; publishing uploads demo files to your configured storage. See our Privacy Policy for these data flows.
Free plan and trial
The app can be used free of charge without an account, with limits: up to 3 demos in your library, a watermark on exports, and only the original language when you publish. Signing in starts a 7-day free trial that unlocks every feature pack. When the trial ends, the app returns to the free plan until you buy a license.
License
A purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the feature packs you bought, for both personal and commercial projects.
- Your purchase covers the current major version (v1) and all of its updates, at no extra cost.
- A future major version may be offered as a separate, optional paid upgrade.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license or the Software itself.
Payments & refunds
Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, who is the seller of record for your purchase and handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. All purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee: contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. The guarantee covers one refund per customer; after that we consider requests case by case. A refund revokes the license. A lifetime license covers the current major version (v1.x) and all its updates.
Acceptable use
The software license does not include third-party AI, voice or storage service fees. These providers may charge separately. Using an existing CLI requires that service’s own authorization. Local editing and rendering do not require cloud AI, but cloud AI generation, account sign-in and publishing require connectivity.
You agree not to use the Software for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to circumvent its licensing. You are responsible for the content you create and for your use of any third-party AI provider under your own key.
Intellectual property
The Software and Site are owned by MakeMeDemo. Your license does not transfer ownership. The demos and content you create are yours.
Disclaimer & liability
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeMeDemo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.
Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
