Before you start
Install MakeMeDemo and prepare the website or app you want to demonstrate. Start with one short task and remove sensitive information from the screen.
Steps
- Create an interactive demo and choose the website, screen recording or imported video source you need.
- Record the task, stop, then review the captured steps. Configure an AI provider or an authorized CLI before using AI generation.
- Generate and review the text, hotspots and voiceover. Adjust individual steps, then preview before exporting or publishing.
What you get
A step-by-step demo you can preview, edit and export. Publishing requires storage configuration; downloading the app does not create hosting for you.
Troubleshooting
If capture is blank, check recording permissions and the selected source. If AI fails, check the provider or CLI authorization in AI Settings; local editing is still available.
